Energy Audits pricing for 2012
Existing homes: Includes visual inspection of interior and exterior of the house (including basement and attic) checking for improper sealing of ductwork, insulation gaps, and construction flaws, penetrations into the attic and window and door leaks. Diagnostic Home Energy Survey and Comprehensive Home Energy Audit use Blower Door Technology for diagnostic testing and evaluating the overall air tightness of your home. Duct Blower testing is needed for homes with hot air heating and/or air conditioning systems with distribution ductwork. We provide written reports of our findings including descriptions of items needing work and projected energy and cost savings if these items are corrected.
NOTE: Basic audits provided through some government or utility programs do not include all these services. Please review the audit description supplied by the program you are working through.
Thermal Imaging is not included in standard energy audit pricing. Billing rate for Thermal Imaging is $100/hr.
